Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product operational roles, with 2+ years managing and scaling high-performing teams
- A proven track record of inspiring, mentoring, and driving accountability within a team
- Ability to own projects end-to-end while empowering your team to take initiative and drive results collaboratively
- Strong experience in managing cross-functional projects with clear structure, organization, and stakeholder alignment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Datadog, Excel/Sheets) and the ability to guide your team in turning insights into impactful decisions
- Deep empathy for users and the ability to instill a user-first mindset across your team
- Experience designing and implementing systems and processes that enable teams to scale and operate efficiently
- General familiarity with software development processes, with experience in building payroll systems as a significant advantage
- Superior ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, whether mentoring your team or presenting to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and thrive in a dynamic, product-driven tech environment
Responsibilities
- Lead large, impactful cross-functional projects, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, empowering them to excel and grow
- Guide your team in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing product-related challenges
- Lead by example, diving into challenges alongside your team
- Coach your team to identify root causes of complex issues and architect solutions that are innovative, scalable, and practical
- Oversee the design and implementation of operational systems and workflows that enhance efficiency and scalability
