Requirements

  • Desire to lead / work with a team and own features from inception to ship
  • You’re a go to resource for complex material logic, PBR material standards and organization
  • Enthusiastic about in game performance; making art efficient and forward thinking
  • Mastery of UE4/UE5 and related art pipelines
  • Very strong technical and logic skills surrounding Blueprints / Scripting
  • Abilities in secondary areas such as modeling, skinning, animation, or lighting
  • Desire to work with a team, supporting other content creators such as modelers, VFX artists
  • Must have a strong reel/portfolio showing executed game tech art

Responsibilities

  • Create complex materials for characters, weapons and environments
  • Establish workflows and tools for other artists to utilize when making unique assets
  • Execute on a range of visual effects styles from realistic to stylized
  • Work with programmers and artists to optimize content for many platforms
  • Own gameplay and engine features from the technical art side maintaining the high quality bar for Fortnite

Preferred Qualifications

Desire and knowledge of how to push Unreal Engine further
