Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in educational or educational technology publishing (or a related industry) developing product roadmaps to define and determine strategy, guide the development, release, and expansion of products, meet end-user needs, business goals, and stakeholder requirements
- Experience with Customer Relations Management (CRM), Content Management Systems (CMS), and digital platforms
- A track record of success with curriculum-based professional learning and adult learning
- Experience collaboratively and effectively working with technical and non-technical partner teams to oversee delivery of product solutions
- A strong understanding of the K-12 education space and instructional design, practices and product, and user life cycles
- Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the USA
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of PL product initiatives in various formats (e.g., print, digital, video, etc.)
- Work with the Sr. Director, Product Strategy to define and execute a comprehensive PL product roadmap, ensuring alignment to the companyβs strategic goals that will meet expectations for consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of delivery
- Help monitor product performance, analyze user feedback and data, and drive iterative improvements and feature enhancements
- Work with the Sr. Director, Product Strategy to plan and oversee market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with Implementation Programs, Client Success, Product Engineering and Brand and Communications on various steps of the product life cycle
- Manage staff and resources effectively and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IMβs K-12 classroom implementation
- Basic knowledge of software engineering workflows
- Background in technology, UX, and/or user research
- Strong computer skills with cloud-based systems, especially Google Workspace applications, Zoom, Asana, and Slack
