Requirements

  • Be a second-year (2L) student enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited law school pursuing a Juris Doctorate
  • Have at least one of the following: completed privacy coursework OR earned a CIPP certification OR have previous experience within the privacy space
  • Possess a strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice, specifically in privacy law
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, and organized
  • Be comfortable reaching out and initiating communication with various team members
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and an interest in building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal
  • Be adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
  • Be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to review and distill information from multiple sources into concise and pertinent legal memoranda
  • Have work authorization for employment in the United States (CPT/OPT is accepted)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
  • Communicate with the Legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates
  • Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, the Legal and broader Airbnb community
