Summary

Direct Counsel is seeking talented remote Legal Recruiters to join their team as part of a premium boutique legal recruiting firm. The recruiters will be responsible for recruiting attorneys and legal professionals for positions with law firms and corporate legal departments, conducting in-depth interviews, networking, extending offers, negotiating compensation packages, and assisting clients and candidates in making informed employment decisions.

Requirements

• Must have strong understanding of the legal industry
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and proactive
• Prior client service experience
• Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Legal background and the desire to move into a sales/recruiting role
• JD strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruiting attorneys and legal professionals for positions with law firms and corporate legal departments
• In-depth interviewing with attorneys and legal professional candidates to assess qualifications
• Networking with attorneys and legal professionals
• Extending offers of employment to attorneys and legal professional candidates and negotiating compensation packages
• Assisting clients and candidates in making discreet and informed employment decisions
