Logistics Lead

Requirements

• You have a minimum of 7 years experience in logistics
• You must have proven experience in all transportation modes in both domestic and international logistics
• You are technically adept. You must have prior experience integrating technology solutions into logistics workflows
• Proven experience creating and blending both technical and manual logistics processes
• You’re adaptable and are as comfortable in a boardroom as you are in a warehouse
• You excel in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments. We value proven startup logistics experience more than industry certifications
• Prior experience building products with Product and Engineering teams is nice to have, but not required
• 1-2 years experience managing 3PL's domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the movement of goods within the Manufactured ecosystem
• Ensure that products move efficiently from factories through to their final destination; this will often involve international and domestic operations
• Work across multiple time zones and cross-functionally to ensure freight is moving efficiently
• Use both manual processes and technology to build repeatable systems that merge international logistics with domestic and local operations
• Manage and monitor inventory using our API and new systems
• Oversee local distribution centers including warehousing, pick and pack operations, and local fulfillment
• Partner with our technical team to build a customer facing logistics dashboard and command center to monitor inventory and create new logistics movements
• Accurately price logistics solutions and deliverables for our customers
• Eventually, hire and lead a team of logistics specialists
