Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
  • Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., Oracle Netsuite or WMS)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Work with carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and secure transportation
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and invoices
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock counts and efficient storage
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers
  • Evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Analyze supply chain processes and recommend improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, costs, and order accuracy
  • Address and resolve issues related to transportation delays, damaged goods, or customer complaints
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external logistics inquiries

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CILT)
