Summary

Join a dynamic team at Acadia Pharmaceuticals and take on the role of Sales Specialist, responsible for managing, developing, and growing assigned sales territory. This position requires strong relationships with customers, deep neuroscience and product knowledge, and an understanding of local and regional market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively utilizes account selling strategies to achieve goals through building relationships with and meeting the needs of all members of the long term care (LTC) resident’s care team
  • Effectively impacts existing and new customers by providing exceptional value and service, which ultimately helps providers to identify and start appropriate patients on therapy
  • Educates physicians, physician-extenders, consultant pharmacists and nursing facility clinical and management staff on the value of Acadia’s products for patient care
  • Utilizes knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, sales data, and market trends to inform sales strategies and optimize performance
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key customers, including physicians, physician-extenders, consultant pharmacists, and nursing facility clinical and management staff
  • Stays up-to-date on local and regional market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and optimize performance
  • Participates in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of neuroscience products, sales techniques, and business acumen
