Join Blink Health, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, as the Manager, Accounting Operations (AP & AR). Lead the transformation of billing and payables functions, evolving them into data-informed operations that drive business growth and efficiency. Oversee two direct reports while strategically managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Leverage large-scale data and Big Data tools to build scalable billing systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, implement automation, and enhance client trust. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, along with expertise in GAAP and revenue recognition principles. The ideal candidate will champion continuous improvement and strategic impact across accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field (Masterโ€™s degree or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in AR/AP leadership, complex billing, or financial operations in high-growth or data-rich environments
  • Strong command of AI-driven automation platforms and data tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, SAP)
  • Proven success driving automation and business transformation in finance or operational roles
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition principles, and financial reporting
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience managing large, complex datasets
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation of AR processes by leveraging large-scale data to build scalable and accurate billing systems utilizing Big Data tools
  • Partner with Data, Product, and Finance teams to design, extract, and structure billing logic and datasets for automation and analysis
  • Design and oversee the execution of automated invoicing workflows using data pipelines and BI tools
  • Develop and maintain revenue assurance practices to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of customer invoicing
  • Provide strategic oversight on contract terms and billing structures to ensure proper revenue recognition and related billing
  • Serve as a key business partner to Growth team account managers and customers to lead the resolution of high-impact billing issues and enhance client trust
  • Monitor billing KPIs and AR health ensuring alignment with company objectives and cash flow targets
  • Oversee end-to-end AP processes and direct the AP function to support growth through streamlined operations, accurate vendor management, and optimized payment cycles
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to align payment terms with cash flow strategy and business goals
  • Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and budget guidelines
  • Monitor and resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments
  • Work closely with Procurement and lead the end-to-end implementation of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation initiative, aligning purchase order processes, vendor onboarding, and expense reporting with enterprise-wide objectives and system integration goals
  • Lead initiatives to enhance compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and tax regulations while driving process innovation
  • Identify and lead projects to enhance automation, accuracy, and visibility within AP
  • Act as a transformation lead for financial operations by evaluating, implementing, and managing automation opportunities across AR/AP workflows
  • Collaborate with Data teams to integrate AI-powered financial analytics and ERP enhancements into day-to-day operations
  • Develop financial dashboards and define KPIs that provide actionable insights into billing accuracy, payment cycle efficiency, and cash flow performance
  • Implement and enforce company-wide Travel & Expense (T&E) policies and controls, ensuring alignment with corporate spend governance, regulatory compliance, and cost management objectives; establish system controls, training, and regular audits
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and strategic impact across accounting operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare related billing or pharmaceutical wholesaler billing
  • Knowledge of machine learning or AI-driven processes in financial operations
  • Background in financial compliance, internal audits, or enterprise-scale process automation projects
