Summary

Join Twilio as the next Manager, HRBP, Engineering and work side-by-side with senior leaders in Twilio’s engineering organization. You will craft talent strategies and workforce plans, focusing on skill enhancement, improved work methods, and fostering a culture that delivers top-tier CPaaS products. As a key member of a high-impact HR team, you will drive organizational success across global Engineering, Product, and R&D. This role demands someone thriving in product development, motivated by organizational success, and adept at simplifying complexities. You will take a consultative, data-driven approach to identify opportunities and use analytics to drive results. You will also build high-ROI programs and partner with COEs to align talent strategies with company programs. This role requires strong executive coaching skills and a deep understanding of engineering organizations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of HRBP experience and 3+ years partnering with software engineering or product management teams
  • Deep knowledge of engineering orgs, including operating models, methodologies, roles, and trends
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable, high-ROI, business-first people programs
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Energised by learning, solving complex problems, and driving results

Responsibilities

  • Taking a consultative, data-driven approach to uncover opportunities
  • Using analytics and insights to drive timely, targeted outcomes
  • Building high-ROI programs across org design, workforce planning, and culture curation
  • Partnering closely with COEs to ensure your functional talent strategy syncs with cyclical programs
  • Turbo-boosting your productivity with sensible usage of AI tools
  • As a trusted advisor you’ll maintain a strong say:do ratio and uphold confidentiality
  • Bring effective executive coaching skills to the table
  • Leverage deep understanding of engineering orgs to shape outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with internal OE consultants and/or HCM strategy firms
  • Background working within HRBP teams that build and drive functional talent strategies
