Summary
Join Aledade as the Manager of Payer Operations and play a key role in shaping the future of value-based care. Lead the development and execution of initiatives strengthening partnerships with health plans and other healthcare purchasers. You will pilot innovative programs, build new capabilities, and design structures supporting independent primary care practices and new customer types. This high-impact role requires strategic thinking, operational skills, and expertise in healthcare transformation. Candidates must be comfortable working remotely from anywhere in the US. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 years experience in physician practice transformation, project management in a healthcare or health insurance role, or Medicare broker distribution channel management
- Strong strategic planning, project management, analytics, and structured problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of the payer & provider ecosystem within healthcare
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships
- Experience leading and/or managing internal and external stakeholder meetings
Responsibilities
- Own the growth and attribution retention strategies and implementation of assigned purchaser partnerships, and cross-functionally manage those initiatives through development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (e.g., develop project plans, business cases, and ROI analysis to support initiatives)
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate and enhance Aledade’s value proposition and positioning of Aledade practices in the market to support organic growth, retention and margin goals
- Monitor and identify changes to industry dynamics and adjust strategies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in management, health services research, health and/or public policy, or other relevant fields
- 2+ years of management consulting experience
- Passionate about driving the shift from fee-for-service to value based care
