Summary
Join Illumio's Sales team as a Sales Development Manager, where you will hire and retain top talent, onboard and train new representatives, and provide coaching and performance management. Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to align messaging and strategy, build and iterate on sales sequences, and identify process improvements. Leverage data analytics to guide the team and ensure efficient outbound models. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of sales development management experience leading an outbound B2B SaaS team, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with sales tools like SalesLoft and Salesforce. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years sales development management experience leading an outbound team, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Must have a show and not tell managerial style
- Experience and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, hypergrowth environment
- Proven experience in growing high performing Account Development teams
- Passion to hire well, coach, and hold team members to high standards
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to determine how we should prioritize improvements
- Ability to build a strong team culture focused on accountability, professionalism and yes, fun
- Deep familiarity with systems like SalesLoft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Sales Nav
Responsibilities
- Hire and retain top talent as we continue to grow
- Onboard and train new reps to the team within a four-week, hands-on onboarding program
- Run effective 1:1βs weekly with reps to provide analysis, coaching, performance management and career growth support
- Work closely with the Global Head of Sales Development and Marketing to ensure messaging and talk tracks are aligned and effective
- Work directly with sales leadership to ensure ADR + AE alignment in processes, messaging and strategy
- Build and consistently iterate on outbound or inbound sequences and templates within SalesLoft
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues and inconsistencies in process, systems and strategy
- Consistently evaluate existing processes for areas of improvements to create efficiencies in our Outbound models
- Assist with list building + target account gathering for the team
- Utilize analytics and data to uncover and follow patterns to guide and coach the team
