Manager, Sales Development

Summary

Join Instacart's growing Local Independent Grocery (LIG) team as an Activation SDR Manager. Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve monthly targets, focusing on identifying and qualifying independent retailers as potential partners. You will coach your team on sales best practices, prospecting, pipeline management, and Instacart's technology solutions. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has sales leadership experience in technology, SaaS, CPG, or eCommerce. Requirements

• History of exceeding sales goals/quota in a fast paced environment
• 3-5 years of experience in a sales management environment (both leading and scaling teams)
• History of developing early career professionals
• Creative problem-solver
• Process and data driven with proven sales funnel optimization success
• Demonstrated success implementing activity metrics and effectively coaching cold outreach

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of high-performing LIG Activation SDRs to achieve monthly targets
• Measure and track key business and industry trends
• Improve our sales process, collateral, and prospecting capabilities to make your team more effective and efficient
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve scalable processes to reach more retail partners faster
