Summary

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of experience in the title and settlement industry
  • 4 or more years of managing title search, examination, and curative staff in a high-volume environment
  • Demonstrated experience in title search, examination, curative, and/or policy functions
  • Experience with title underwriting requirements for various states and underwriters
  • Detail-oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, system driven environment involving daily production targets, time tracking, and dedicated work queues
  • Experience with Qualia’s software and suite of products
  • Ability to analyze operational data and use insights to inform process improvements
  • Track record of successfully scaling teams and managing change in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates an ability to lead and manage a remote title production team, including guiding and motivating staff of Transaction Coordinators and Curative Specialists
  • Driving title production performance metrics and meeting or exceeding required SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and high-quality product standards
  • Training and equipping personnel and vendors to support and/or perform all title production functions including title search, title examination, title curative functions, and title policy preparation
  • Maintaining a firm understanding and knowledge of state-specific statutes and requirements relating to title
  • Providing guidance to Training Team in the development of P&Ps and job aids to standardize processes for all title production functions
  • Proficiency with reporting analysis related to key metrics and the ability to manage teams using this analysis
  • Participating in strategic planning initiatives to scale operations and integrate new technologies
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors to ensure consistent turnaround and service quality
  • Implementing quality control measures and leading initiatives to improve accuracy and reduce curative cycle times
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance title production workflows and automation tools
