Summary

Join Tucows as the Market Development Manager, Domains and drive revenue growth and customer success. Requirements

  • 5+ years in the domain industry, ideally in a commercial role
  • Domain Industry Expertise: Experience in domain registries or registrars, with knowledge of multiple platforms
  • Product and Project Management: Experience leading product development and/or cross-team projects
  • Leadership and Relationship Management: Experienced leader, skilled in championing relationships to advance business goals
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Authority at prioritizing features that drive customer happiness and margin growth
  • Commercial Savvy: Strong market and competitive analysis skills to find opportunities for revenue growth

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize features and initiatives for domain services to drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall profitability
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Design teams to translate business requirements into platform features and user interface designs that meet business goals
  • Develop and prioritize domain projects, aligning project priorities with business objectives
  • Act as the main point of contact for capturing platform feedback and leading initiatives to improve the domains platform and user experience
  • Partner with Data Analytics to analyze customer data and derive insights that inform product decisions and business strategies
  • Supervise industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Identify new commercial opportunities, innovations, and areas for differentiation in the domain name market
  • Support collaboration with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of product updates and features
  • Communicate our business vision and goals to internal and external partners
