Summary
Join AMBOSS as a Market Manager for US Clinicians and play a key role in expanding our next-generation clinical resource to new clinician markets in the US. Leveraging your physician experience, you will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, analyze market performance, and create compelling marketing materials. This position requires a medical degree, residency, business/marketing experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- A completed medical degree and completed residency education
- You are a native English speaker
- You have a deep understanding of the needs and pain points of practicing clinicians in the US
- You have prior business, commercial, or marketing experience
- Project management: strong project management skills with an ability to juggle multiple initiatives and deadlines
- Analytical skills: ability to analyze data and market insights to drive strategic decisions
- Exceptional writing abilities: crafting compelling copy that captivates audiences, with a mastery of grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure
- Effective communication skills: both internally and externally, coupled with strong presentation abilities
- Results oriented: you make changes based on qualitative feedback from key opinion leaders and quantitative KPIs
Responsibilities
- Leverage your physician experience to lead the development of the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy for targeted new clinician markets, in collaboration with the Director of the US Clinicians Market
- Understand the competitive landscape and unique customer needs in each new target group
- Identify and prioritize key market entry points based on growth potential and investment required
- Build and execute an end-to-end GTM strategy, including positioning, messaging, and direct customer sales
- Track and analyze KPIs, such as acquisition cost, conversion rates, usage rates, and overall market ROI
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform continuous improvements to the product and positioning
- Deliver regular reports and presentations on market expansion progress, challenges, and results to the Director of the US Clinicians market and additional stakeholders
- Create compelling marketing messages through written copy and visuals that reflect our unique brand and offering for the targeted audience
- Collaborate effectively with marketing experts (marketing managers, graphics team, video team, CRM teamโฆ), product specialists (product managers, engineersโฆ), institutional sales teams and market leadership
- Stay informed about competitors and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge in the medical education and clinical decision support industry
- Serve as a brand ambassador for AMBOSS, representing the company with professionalism and integrity at all times
- Attend conferences, seminars, and other industry events to network with and learn from potential customers

- Work Location: Preferably at one of our AMBOSS offices (New York City, Berlin, or Cologne), with the option for remote work at your location
- Work Hours: Full time position (40 hours per week). Hours flexible, but must accommodate meetings with colleagues in home office time zones (Berlin, New York)
- Travel: ~10% (examples: team workshops at an AMBOSS office, attendance of U.S.-based conferences)
