Join a competent team of investment professionals in a Shanghai-based investment bank specializing in cross-border transactions, focusing on healthcare and biotech. The bank assists clients in finding strategic partners in China and advises on licensing and financing deals. The team comprises former research analysts and bankers from reputable firms, with a strong network of relationships within the top 100+ pharma and Medtech companies in China. The role involves supporting various business activities, including investment banking, licensing, M&A advisory, consulting, valuation, and market research. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate in a relevant scientific field or have a medical background, possessing strong analytical and communication skills.

• Excellent communication skills for both internal coordination and external engagement

• Comfortable asking questions and collaborating with team members

Responsibilities

• Help overseas companies raise capital in China from strategic partners and financial investors
• Help companies find business partners in China (licensing and commercialization)
• M&A Advisory
• Consulting & Valuation
• Market research including clinical, regulatory, KOLs/Physician interviews, etc. in China
• Product valuation: competitive landscape, sales forecast, valuation modeling, licensing structure proposal
• Investing directly through our own growth capital fund
• Structured buy-out fund for mature stage companies

Preferred Qualifications

• Fresh graduates for Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Medical & Clinical Sciences is highly preferred
• Medical professional or medical background can be considered
