Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communication or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, with a focus on email marketing, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
- Minimum one year experience in a leadership role
- Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and editing across various platforms (e.g., web, email, social media, blogs)
- Advanced knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Creatio a plus, HubSpot, Marketo)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and social media management
- Ability to read, write, and understand English fluently
Responsibilities
- Create and facilitate the execution of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the credit union’s business goals and member needs – including but limited to website content, blog, member resources, clean energy and financial educational materials, presentations and webinars, and advertising
- Work with media coordinator on asset development and social media strategy
- Optimize website content to improve organic rankings in search engines to increase interest and traffic
- Develop and implement workflows and automations within the CRM to increase usage and adoption of products and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve member experience through credit union website, educational & support materials, and direct communications
- Develop, execute, and optimize personalized and segmented email marketing campaigns to drive member engagement and lead conversion
- Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance, applying data-driven insights to implement improvements
- Ensure all marketing materials are aligned with the credit union’s brand guidelines and messaging
- Work directly with partners to plan and execute marketing campaigns
- Actively identify and organize participation in various events such as conferences, trade shows, or industry gatherings
- Monitor and respond to online reviews across various platforms and develop strategies to enhance overall online reputation
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality campaigns on time and within budget
- Manage Media Coordinator and freelance positions as needed
- Support credit union staff as needed
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
- Comply with all credit union policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
