Summary

Join Precision for Medicine as a Marketing Manager in China to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives. You will build our digital presence, manage high-profile events, and drive thought leadership. This home-based role requires strong autonomy, collaboration skills, and the ability to translate global strategies into impactful local execution. You will partner with sales and operational teams to drive awareness and lead generation. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, excellent bilingual communication skills (Mandarin and English), and experience managing WeChat and LinkedIn for B2B audiences. You will also translate and localize technical content and manage complex projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, biotech, or healthcare sectors; advanced degree plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience a plus
  • 4–6 years of experience in a marketing role with a proven track record of leading projects independently
  • Demonstrated experience managing WeChat and LinkedIn for B2B audiences in
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills (Mandarin Chinese and English), with the ability to translate complex technical content clearly and accurately
  • Experience organizing webinars and live events, including speaker coordination and promotional strategy
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to write complex reports in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in project management processes and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and status reporting
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage regional or platform-specific social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, WeChat, X, or other emerging platforms)
  • Develop and execute a localized content strategy, publishing regular articles by translating and adapting global content for local audiences
  • Ensure consistent messaging and engagement with key stakeholders across digital platforms
  • For China: Set up and actively manage the official WeChat account, publishing articles and translated from LinkedIn or other global sources to attract and engage followers
  • Collaborate with operational, medical/scientific and commercial teams to identify relevant topics and ensure high-quality content delivery
  • For China: Coordinate webinars, on-demand video, and other content generation featuring local and global experts to discuss global regulatory updates, case studies, and trending topics
  • In coordination with the Marketing Events team, lead the end-to-end planning and execution of event booths and participation in key industry conferences in the assigned region
  • Manage vendor relationships, booth design, logistics, and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI
  • Translate and localize technical and scientific content from English into local languages with accuracy and cultural sensitivity
  • Serve as a liaison between global marketing and regional stakeholders to ensure messaging resonates with target audiences
  • Provide expertise and guidance to team members and cross-functional partners
  • Lead and manage complex projects or functional areas, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Actively contribute to the development of departmental strategies and marketing plans
  • Continuously improve technical skills and stay current with emerging technologies and marketing trends
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget across the entire project lifecycle
  • Provide competitive intelligence input to drive growth strategies
  • Monthly/bi monthly reporting on all activities in the region to include WeChat metrics, conference planning and updates, podcasts, webinars and other key activities in the region
