Marketing Specialist Agent

Summary

Join ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa in partnering with a US-based client to fill an urgent opening for a Marketing Specialist. This remote role, open to South African citizens only, requires working US hours (9 am to 6 pm EST). The position involves supporting key marketing initiatives, including content creation, social media management, CRM monitoring, and email campaigns. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong communication and design skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, and experience with social media management, CRM platforms, and email marketing tools is required. A stable internet connection and power backup are essential for this remote position.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Have experience with social media management, CRM platforms (preferably Zoho), and email marketing tools
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Show proficiency in design tools and Microsoft Office
• Possess excellent communication and writing skills
• Possess a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for both upload and download, capable of supporting a wired Ethernet connection
• Have a power backup solution (UPS, Solar) to manage loadshedding or power outages

Responsibilities

• Develop and send monthly newsletters to target audiences
• Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms
• Oversee and update Zoho CRM for customer relationship management
• Create and manage social media content calendars
• Schedule and coordinate giveaway mass email campaigns
• Design and implement webinar registration forms
• Handle specific social media campaigns
• Design and schedule regular social media posts, such as Friday Weekend Tips
• Collaborate on other marketing campaigns as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in creating and managing social media calendars
• Have familiarity with webinar platforms and registration forms
• Have knowledge of social media analytics and engagement metrics
