Medical Assistant

Summary

Join Curai Health's remote clinical team as a Medical Assistant, working a weekend shift (Saturday-Monday, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM PT). You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, virtual primary care, supporting clinicians with patient coordination, communication, and documentation. Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience as a medical assistant
• 1+ year of telemedicine experience
• Commitment to our weekend shift schedule: Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT
• Confidence working independently and handling high-volume patient interactions
• Comfort with evolving technology, including AI-powered tools and digital platforms
• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians with patient coordination tasks including but not limited to
• Pharmacy communication and prescription support
• Referrals and prior authorizations
• Scheduling and follow-up outreach
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication
• Document tasks and communications in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Identify workflow issues and escalate when needed
• Participate in team huddles and quality initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Have worked remotely before or have a strong feeling that you'd work well with a 100% remote team spread across multiple time zones

• Have informed opinions that you hold lightly but are flexible to meet the needs of patients and the business
