Summary

Join Zipdev's remote team as a talented Medical Virtual Assistant, collaborating with a US-based client to support healthcare professionals and ensure smooth medical practice operations. You will perform administrative tasks, manage patient records, and assist with medical terminology-related duties. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical terminology. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Proficiency in Google Suite: Google Calendar and Google Drive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Currently living in Latin America

Responsibilities

  • Working as virtual front desk and admin support for her clinic, answering phones, emails, scheduling patients, uploading labs, checking legal docs, following up with patients for labs, etc
  • Managing calendar as a high-level exec assistant
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other team members
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and promotional campaigns to attract new patients and retain existing ones
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments, accessing telehealth services, and navigating healthcare portals
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Spruce for answering phones
  • Basic experience with CRMs, such as Keap or others
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or medical office environment
  • Experience in social media advertising and newsletter creation using Canva
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices and procedures
