Summary
Join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as their Member Engagement and Development Manager! This role, based primarily remotely with 2 days a week in Leicester (or fully remote), involves leading a small team to boost customer recruitment and retention. You will build relationships with key decision-makers, aligning strategies with IOSH's product portfolio. The ideal candidate is a target-driven sales and account management professional with proven team leadership experience and a knack for developing and implementing successful recruitment and retention plans. Requirements
- A good level of membership recruitment and retention knowledge including understanding of sales cycles and enabling a target focused culture
- Proven experience in successfully leading and managing a sales team
- Proven experience of creating and delivering recruitment and retention plans
- Experience of developing and managing teams, budgets and operating processes
- Proven experience of market analysis to identify relevant markets
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team in driving customer recruitment and retention activities
- Fully understand sales and engagement activities to acquire and retain members
- Support and work with key decision makers and senior leadership of organisations to deliver strategies by aligning them with our product and service portfolio, creating value for IOSH both financially and reputationally
- Manage a team and demonstrate excellent leadership skills, demonstrating confidence, perseverance and personal resilience through visible leadership
- Promote IOSHβs products and services to its markets, partners and other stakeholders
- Be confident in stakeholder management and building credible relationships, as well as developing and implementing robust sales strategies to drive success
