Summary

Join Vitable Health as a Member Support Specialist and play a vital role in providing exceptional service to members. You will manage member inquiries, coordinate care services, and facilitate communication between members and providers. Collaborating with the Clinical Operations and Provider Operations teams, you'll ensure a seamless member experience. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for healthcare accessibility. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or similar work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or operations
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative work style
  • Passionate about healthcare and creating equal healthcare access for all

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a delightful healthcare experience by providing exceptional customer service to new and existing members
  • Interact with members via phone, email, text, and chat to address any member concerns around appointments, and non-clinical questions about prescriptions, lab work, or other parts of their Vitable plan
  • Help find resources to coordinate care for members who need services outside of our scope of care
  • Conduct proactive outreach to members or eligible employees to educate them on Vitable’s offering and encourage them to utilize Vitable services
  • Provide support to Vitable affiliated providers, enabling them to deliver excellent healthcare experiences to our members
  • Contribute to small or function-specific projects with guidance and assistance from your manager
  • Surface and articulate basic problems and explore solutions to existing workflows or internal problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams within the operations department to help document best practices
  • Experience using Zendesk or equivalent customer relationship management platform
