Summary
Join DWC as the National Accounts Manager and lead the strategy and execution for key accounts and distributor partnerships nationwide. You will focus on sales growth, collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager team and developing high-level business strategies. This role involves building relationships with distributors, communicating with the Director of National Accounts, monitoring sales performance, and collaborating with other departments. You will also represent DWC at industry events and support annual forecasting. The position requires significant travel.
Requirements
- At least three years in national or regional sales management required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, while managing multiple priorities and tasks
- Must be a proactive, self-starter who understands the details and can integrate them into a much larger strategic context
- Successful track record of sales growth and sales strategy development
- Ability to travel at least 50 days per year
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending and reaching
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships in person throughout the distributorsβ management levels with an emphasis on long-term growth
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Director of National Accounts on national and regional distributor strategy
- Develop and coordinate business strategy for selected key accounts and distributor partnerships nationwide in alignment with sales goals
- Monitor sales performance and service levels with selected distributors to ensure exceptional experiences
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with execution of national and regional strategy and goals
- Attend and collaborate in RSM team meetings
- Represent DWC by attending industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to build relationships and promote our products and services
- Support Director of National Accounts with annual forecasting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- At least five years of industry-related experience preferred
