NGS Sales Specialist in Europe

Summary

The Next Generation Sequencing Sales Specialist at Twist Bioscience is responsible for driving growth and revenue, delivering accurate forecasts, maintaining knowledge of competitor products, and providing customer feedback. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of financial targets, 3-5 years of experience in selling life science reagents, technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications, and key attributes such as drive determination, excellent customer skills, strong communication, ability to thrive in a start-up environment, and strategic thinking.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis
• 3-5 years of experience of selling life science reagents and solutions. Experience selling next generation sequencing target enrichment products essential
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications a necessity

Responsibilities

• Deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets established from annual commission plans
• Develop and manage key relationships with new and existing customers at multiple organizational levels
• Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for their region as necessary
• Develop and execute supply agreements to support new and existing business
• Work collaboratively with product management, R&D and operations to minimize time to revenue
• Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information
• Represent the company at relevant tradeshows
• Maintain and raise awareness of the competitive landscape, provide customer feedback, and introduce new product ideas to internal partners

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in technical sales and support or field applications is preferred
• Application of Salesforce.com is preferred
