Operation Development and Strategy Analyst

Summary

The job is for an Operations Analyst at Trendyol, a dynamic e-commerce company expanding internationally. The role involves wearing many hats, identifying opportunities to improve processes, leading projects, monitoring key performance metrics, designing analyses, and making informed decisions based on data. The ideal candidate has a university degree in Engineering, Economics, Management, 3-5 years of e-commerce, consulting or equivalent work experience, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills in English and Turkish, and is comfortable with a fast-changing environment.

Requirements

• University degree preferably in Engineering, Economics, Management
• 3 - 5 years of e-commerce, consulting or equivalent work experience preferred
• Strong experience in interpreting both quantitative and qualitative results of analyses
• Highly analytical and comfortable with complex business problems and decision
• Comfortable with the big picture as well as small details with a sense of analytical thinking, detail-orientation and eagerness to learn with agile mindset
• Passionate to working with multiple stakeholders and excellent communicator who can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders - numbers are key, but business can only be built with people
• Excellent command of gsheet/excel, good command of BI tools and SQL preferred
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Turkish

Responsibilities

• Partnering with all operation departments on strategic topics and operational priorities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions by benchmarking, and finding best practices
• Leading and/or supporting ops projects and new initiatives and managing the scope and requirements for all stakeholders
• Monitoring key performance metrics and executing project plans with teams to improve business processes and functions
• Designing comprehensive analyses and models to identify challenges and solutions with support on decision making across the company
