Operational Planning Manager

Summary

Join Corndel as an Operational Planning Manager to forecast, plan, and allocate staff to deliver program schedules while working closely with academic and delivery teams.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in operational planning, staff scheduling, resource management or a similar role, preferably in the higher education industry
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to work with data and complex information
• Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive staff forecast and plan based on the programme schedule and the business needs
• Support Director of Operations with capacity planning requirements based on forecasting data and operational planning schedules
• Allocate staff to the programme schedule, taking into account their availability, skills, preferences and development opportunities
• Communicate the staff plan and any changes to the relevant stakeholders, and resolve any conflicts or issues
• Track and analyse the staff utilisation and provide regular reports and feedback to the management and the staff
• Identify and address any gaps, risks or challenges in the staff plan and the schedule, and propose and implement solutions and improvements
• Coordinate induction plans for new operational staff and gather feedback for improvements
• Conduct analysis on current workforce capability and develop required plan to meet policy and operational requirements
