Summary

Requirements
- Analytics-tailored SQL skills: writing optimized queries & navigating complex data sets
- Problem solving: demonstrated abstract problem solving skills, including solving challenges in unique ways
- Effective communication: translating technical issues to non-technical team members
- Collaboration with software development teams: gathering & communicating software requirements & projecting the impacts of proposed solutions
- Managing a team: identifying the strengths and growth opportunities for individuals on your team and facilitating strategies in further develop those individuals
Responsibilities
- Solving some of Fetch's toughest problems in the scan-and-match space
- Identifying elegant and creative solutions to thorny challenges
- Working on and managing a small team of other analysts
- Embedded in the software development lifecycle of 2-3 teams across Fetch
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytics & data manipulation tools: SQL, R, Python, etc
- Experience working with large data sets
- Visualization & reporting: we use Grafana & Tableau
- Experience working with product information in an e-commerce setting
- Analytics models: DBT, Airflow, etc
- Advanced forecasting skills: statistical & other predictive techniques
- Git & version control
- Experience in a player/coach role: You can mentor and guide a team but are still willing and able to get in the weeds
