Operations Associate

Summary

Join Careem, a leading app in the Middle East, as an Operations Associate and contribute to the smooth running of logistics and delivery operations. You will be responsible for captain onboarding, training, and rostering, acting as the primary point of contact for captain-related issues and inquiries. This role involves managing captain needs, resolving issues, monitoring operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams to enhance service performance and optimize workflows. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills and is proficient in multitasking. This position offers a unique work arrangement with a hybrid model and remote work options.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-moving environment
• Flexible availability to work based on operational needs
• Fluency in Hindi/Urdu and English (spoken and written) – Arabic is a plus
• Valid UAE Driving License
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, Excel and similar software tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct captain training, onboarding, and manage rostering schedules
• Serve as the direct point of contact for all captain-related matters, including inquiries, issues, and feedback
• Address captain inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring timely resolutions
• Oversee live operations, monitor captain shifts, and operational adherence
• Collaborate with the performance team to maintain adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and local transportation laws
