Summary

Join Shields Health Solutions' Strategic Operations team and contribute to the company's growth and success. This hands-on, analytical role supports the Operations leadership team in achieving excellent clinical, operational, and financial performance. You will work directly with regional Operations leadership, manage cross-functional projects, develop financial forecasts, and support decision-making through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This role offers the opportunity to experience various aspects of the company and potentially lead future growth initiatives. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years work experience, ideally in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a strategy role in a high-growth, healthcare start up environment
  • Entrepreneurial attitude - willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and work cross functionally to make things happen quickly
  • Must be highly motivated, results-driven professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in summarizing and presenting Company results in formal Management or Board of Director settings
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling and data visualization
  • Analytically oriented; makes and defends decisions based on hard data
  • Hard worker and self-starter who is able to work independently, with limited oversight from managers
  • Effective at multi-tasking; someone who enjoys and thrives wearing multiple hats at once
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the regional Operations leadership teams to identify and execute on health system partnership priorities
  • Support Regional Vice Presidents and Directors of Operations to facilitate successful financial, operational and clinical outcomes for Shields’ partnerships
  • Assist in day-to-day strategy and operations for the region
  • Facilitate internal discussions with operations and cross-functional teams collaboration to advance the strategic priorities of health system partnerships
  • Develop financial forecasts and detailed data analyses to support decision making
  • Assist in facilitating effective decision-making through analysis and execution of strategic projects
  • Act as key member of the Strategic Operations team to drive growth across the organization
  • Work on projects as directed by the Executive Leadership Team to execute on key business priorities & corporate strategies
  • Support the execution of operational and strategic initiatives
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the C-Suite to facilitate efficient decision making
  • Proactively pursue ancillary business and growth opportunities
