Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience in office/ operations management, preferably within an investment banking, private equity, or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of the fast-paced, high compliance nature of financial firms
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, MS Teams, Monday.com, and/or related technologies
- Proficient in Quickbooks
- Able to interpret AP/AR and work with budgets
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and process implementation
- Experience providing training and supervision to staff
- Proactive and accountable when taking on assignments and projects
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion
- Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with customer service focus
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently in a remote environment
- Professional and cordial demeanor
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day virtual office operations enabling Managing Principals to focus on practice and business development
- Ensure efficient work flows, collaborating closely with management to evaluate, develop and maintain efficient processes and systems
- Manage and organize corporate records, ensuring timely submission of required legal documents
- Manage and coordinate external vendor communication including: bookkeeping, accounting, legal, IT, HR, and corporate governance
- Collaborate with Human Resources on matters of recruiting, communications, onboarding/off-boarding and employee engagement
- Analyze and resolve company and employee matters varying in complexity
- Support the planning and organization of company travel and marketing and team events
- Demonstrate active participation in team assignments, business development, and self-development opportunities
- Support all firm policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Background in paralegal or accounting a plus
