Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree
- 3+ years experience in at least 1 of the following: Production planning, Supply planning, Material planning, Inventory planning
- Proficient in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational implications of planning decisions
- Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations β Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
- Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions
Responsibilities
- Create buying recommendations for raw materials, packaging and/or collateral based on forward-looking usage projections
- Perform a weekly inventory reconciliation to ensure the data reflects accurate inventory numbers
- Work with cross functional partners in Supply Chain and Operations to solve inventory overages and shortages
- Understand and articulate key drivers for changes in usage that result in under/over stock situations
- Mitigate supply risk by carrying appropriate levels of stock
- Track upcoming expirations and work with the site to quarantine and dispose of the product
Preferred Qualifications
Basic SQL and/or Python experience
