Summary
Join Power Digital, a tech-enabled growth firm, as a Paid Ads Manager overseeing paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms. You will be responsible for campaign strategy and management, analytics and reporting, audience targeting and segmentation, and budget management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can leverage data to drive results and stay updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in paid advertising, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of performance marketing metrics. Location is limited to San Diego or Southern California. The position reports to the VP of Marketing.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience managing paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, X, and other digital ad platforms
- In-depth knowledge of performance marketing, including SEM, paid social, and display advertising
- Experience with campaign management, budget allocation, and optimization across a variety of platforms
- Strong understanding of key performance metrics (CPC, CPA, CPL, ROAS, etc.) and the ability to optimize campaigns for performance
- Experience in analyzing data, conducting A/B tests, and using insights to inform strategy
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and other industry tools
- Creative thinker with the ability to craft compelling ad copy and visuals that resonate with target audiences
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present data-driven insights effectively
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, X, and other relevant platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, product, compliance) to help develop ads and landing pages that drive conversions and align with the brandβs voice
- Continuously optimize campaigns to improve ROI, using A/B testing, ad copy tweaks, audience targeting, and bid adjustments
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, including key metrics such as CPA, CPL, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates
- Provide regular reports and actionable insights to the leadership team, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and optimization recommendations
- Use advanced analytics tools and platforms to track and measure campaign performance and customer acquisition funnels
- Utilize demographic, interest-based, and behavioral targeting to drive high-quality traffic and conversions
- Conduct thorough market research to identify customer personas, competitors, and audience segments that are most likely to engage with THC-related products
- Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively across platforms to maximize campaign performance and ensure optimal spend efficiency
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality leads and customer acquisition
- Stay up-to-date on advertising regulations specific to the cannabis industry, ensuring all campaigns adhere to platform policies and legal guidelines
- Navigate the complexities of advertising in the cannabis space, adapting strategies as necessary to align with evolving regulations and platform restrictions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other ad platforms (LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube) or emerging platforms
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and broader digital marketing strategies
- Previous experience working in the cannabis or CBD industry
- Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, SpyFu, and other competitive intelligence software
