Summary
Join a dynamic marketing agency and become their new Google Paid Media Manager. You will be responsible for managing 8–12 paid search accounts with budgets ranging from $10K–$30K/month, focusing on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax). Key responsibilities include campaign strategy and execution, daily optimization, performance monitoring and reporting, and collaborating with internal and client teams. You will need 3–5 years of experience managing Google Ads for B2C lead generation, along with expertise in conversion tracking and data analysis. The position offers a competitive salary, a full-time, long-term contract, remote work, and flexible hours. This is an independent contractor role, immediately available.
Requirements
- 3–5 years managing Google Ads for B2C lead generation
- $100K+ monthly ad spend under direct management
- Proven track record in optimizing for CPL and lead quality
- Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax)
- Conversion tracking: GA4, GTM, Google Ads, call tracking (CallRail, WhatConverts)
- Excel / Google Sheets: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas
- Looker Studio or similar for dashboards
- Able to analyze performance across accounts and isolate high-leverage optimizations
- Confidently building forecasts and media plans
- Clear, professional written English—your ad copy must be client-grade
- Organized and calm under pressure; able to prioritize across a full book of business
Responsibilities
- Plan and launch high-converting campaigns, primarily on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax)
- Optimize daily across a portfolio of 8–12 accounts to hit key KPIs (CPL, ROAS, CTR)
- Collaborate with your Paid Media peer to ensure balanced workload and campaign consistency
- Analyze performance data to detect trends, surface insights, and proactively fix issues
- Own monthly reporting and deliver clear, actionable takeaways for clients and internal teams
- Run A/B tests on ads, bids, and landing pages in collaboration with the Funnel Architect
- Coordinate with account managers and creatives to align messaging and strategy
- Join client calls/emails as needed—especially when results shift or new opportunities arise
- Translate complex performance data into plain-language recommendations
- Ensure airtight UTM tracking, naming conventions, and conversion setups across accounts
- Codify repeatable wins and contribute to playbooks and SOPs
- Improve systems to make account management smarter, faster, and more scalable
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with pest control or broader home services (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Prior agency experience juggling multiple accounts
- Experience with eCommerce Google campaigns (even limited)
