Requirements
- 6-8+ years in paid search and performance marketing with strategic insight, team leadership, and analytical prowess
- Deep experimentation experience and mindset with a proven track record of executing A/B tests
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams like Product, Design, Marketing and Finance to drive growth initiatives
- Proven expertise in audience building, leveraging advanced segmentation and targeting techniques to optimize campaign reach and effectiveness
- Ability to initiate ideas and implement new processes
- Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize workload
Responsibilities
- Lead paid search strategy and execution to scale Weedmaps growth, targeting channel expansion, enhancing lifetime value, and fostering loyalty in key customer segments
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant platforms to ensure alignment with growth objectives while maximizing reach and ROI
- Drive continuous campaign improvement through rigorous KPI analysis and optimization techniques to boost user acquisition, engagement, and retention within paid search
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Marketing and Data teams to develop effective ad creatives, optimize landing pages, and conduct A/B tests to enhance conversion rates
- Develop growth projections and collaborate with the Finance and Product teams to create performance-driven scenarios and ensure budget alignment
- Seek out and test new performance marketing platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS preferred
- Experience in the cannabis space strongly preferred
