Summary
Join Shelf as a Partner Channel Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our reach through the Microsoft Partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for recruiting and managing Microsoft partners to resell Shelf software via the Microsoft Marketplace. This involves leveraging your sales and account management expertise to foster collaborative relationships and drive mutual success. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Marketplace transactions and co-selling, along with proven experience in managing partner relationships. You will be responsible for various tasks, including partner training, account management within the Microsoft Partner Center, and ensuring alignment with Microsoft's strategies. Requirements
- Possess a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, specializing in Marketplace Transactions and co-selling
- Have experience working with Microsoft Partners in an account management or sales capacity
- Hold an associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business development, operations, technology, or similar fields
- Be exceptionally detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Possess strong multitasking skills
- Be able to quickly prioritize and organize work to complete tasks of an immediate nature
- Maintain the highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, DocuSign, Teams and Adobe Acrobat
- Be confident in communicating with upper management
- Be willing to work overtime as needed
- Enjoy collaborating and contributing to a team, as well as working independently with limited supervision
Responsibilities
- Recruit Microsoft partners to resell Shelf software through the Microsoft Marketplace
- Guide the Shelf team and partners through collaborative relationships
- Manage Partner Co-Selling Agreements
- Facilitate product training for partners
- Administer and manage Partner set-up and maintenance within Microsoft Partner Center
- Connect Marketplace success to Shelf’s Microsoft Partnership goals
- Identify, submit, and manage Microsoft Incentive Claim opportunities within Partner Center
- Continually audit Shelf’s Marketplace solutions to ensure alignment with current Microsoft solution plays and priorities
- Work Marketplace Leads and Referrals to avoid expiration or loss of sales opportunities
- Maintain consistency in reporting and sales processes
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, and engineering)
Preferred Qualifications
Have Power BI and Salesforce experience
