Join Typeface, a fast-growing GenAI company, as a highly strategic Partner Manager to lead and scale our global relationship with Google. You will drive joint business initiatives, shape strategic alignment, manage cross-functional engagement, and identify long-term growth opportunities. This role requires deep experience in managing complex partnerships with large tech companies and excels at stakeholder management, influencing C-level relationships. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy, serve as the primary liaison with Google stakeholders, and partner with internal teams to achieve partnership goals. You will also identify new growth opportunities, lead contract negotiations, track partnership performance, and stay current on industry trends. The compensation range is $210,000 to $240,000 OTE.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or corporate development roles, with a focus on partnerships with large technology companies
- Proven experience managing senior-level relationships within Google or similar organizations
- Deep knowledge of Googleβs ecosystem and associated business models
- Exceptional communication, influence, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Experience leading cross-functional global teams in a matrixed environment
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a track record of measurable impact
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy with Google that supports company-wide objectives and maximizes mutual value creation
- Serve as the primary executive liaison with senior Google stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration across business units
- Partner with internal product, marketing, legal, engineering, and sales teams to align on partnership goals and ensure flawless execution of joint initiatives
- Identify new growth opportunities and joint ventures, including go-to-market programs, co-innovation efforts, and technology integrations
- Lead complex contract negotiations in partnership with legal and procurement teams, ensuring favorable and scalable business terms
- Establish KPIs to track partnership performance, regularly report on impact, and optimize initiatives based on business outcomes and feedback
- Stay current on industry trends and Google's evolving business strategies to identify areas of opportunity or risk
