
Partnership Development Intern

Summary
Join Lean In Girls as a Partnership Development Intern and play a key role in expanding our reach by researching potential partners and creating a pipeline of schools and girl-serving organizations. This part-time, three-month internship (up to 20 hours per week) offers hands-on experience in partnership development. You will identify and vet potential partners, maintain a partner database, analyze partner fit, support partnership strategy development, segment outreach lists, and track outreach activity. The ideal candidate is passionate about gender equity and girls' empowerment, possesses strong research and organizational skills, and is proficient in Google Suite. This remote position offers flexible scheduling and a mission-driven team environment. The pay rate varies by location ($18-$22/hour nationally, $20-$25/hour in the Bay Area/New York Metro).
Requirements
- Passion for gender equity and girlsβ empowerment
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work confidently with data, including reviewing, organizing, and accurately entering information
- Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar)
Responsibilities
- Identify and vet potential partners serving girls ages 11-15 in target countries
- Maintain and regularly update a database of prospective partners in HubSpot
- Analyze and assess partner fit to help prioritize outreach efforts
- Support the team in developing partnership strategies and outreach materials
- Help segment and personalize outreach lists based on strategic goals and partner profiles
- Track outreach activity and follow-ups to ensure timely engagement and accurate records
- Take on additional responsibilities or projects as assigned, based on team needs and interests
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Slack
- Familiarity with education systems or networks (e.g., schools, youth-serving organizations)
- Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot to manage outreach and track relationships
