Join Healthlink Advisors as their Patient Access Director for a contract role (tentatively late March 2025 - May 2026)! Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive operational playbook for patient access, focusing on strategic transformations and workflow optimization. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in healthcare operations, change management, and cross-functional collaboration. A key responsibility is creating a structured playbook outlining client actions for implementing and sustaining key patient access disciplines. This role requires strong leadership and a proven ability to drive efficiency and improve patient experience.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in patient access operations and industry best practices
- Proven ability to lead strategic execution and change management
- Hands-on experience with Epic and technology-driven operational improvements
- Strong skills in operational restructuring, team leadership, and process improvement
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration across healthcare departments
- Previous advisory or interim leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement best practices for patient access operations based on prior experience and industry standards
- Lead transformational strategies to optimize workflows and improve performance
- Collaborate across departments, including Operational, Clinical, Finance, HR, and IT leadership
- Maximize the use of Epic capabilities during implementation, including MyChart, to create market advantages
- Enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction
- Identify and execute strategies to improve authorization turnaround times
- Standardize and consolidate appointment types to streamline scheduling
- Assess and implement centralized vs. hybrid scheduling models to optimize access and operational efficiency
- Design and execute a comprehensive playbook that provides actionable steps to implement key patient access improvements, ensuring long-term operational success
