Summary
Join Sprinter Health as a Patient Engagement Specialist I and be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through at-home healthcare services. You will manage inbound requests, proactively reach out to patients, and build strong relationships to encourage appointment scheduling. This role requires excellent communication skills and healthcare experience. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless patient experiences and handle diverse customer situations. Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish
- Must reside in pacific standard time zone
- At least 3+ years of recommended healthcare experience conducting outbound calls to patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and explain information to customers
- Proven skill managing multiple channels of communication including phone, email, chat, etc
Responsibilities
- Review and follow up on inbound requests received from existing outreach campaigns
- Utilize deep prospecting techniques to outreach patients in a personalized and engaging way
- Use strong communication skills to build trust with prospective patients and caregivers to encourage and motivate them to schedule their appointments
- Help educate patients on the importance of receiving their ordered services as well as the benefits receiving them in-home with Sprinter Health
- Build a strong understanding of the care model of each of our partners to support any outstanding questions patients may have
- Work collaboratively with other representatives and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Escalate questions and concerns to other teams for additional support
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned including outbound calling to schedule patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Zendesk
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software
- Flexibility, humility, and a sense of humor are your key personality traits
- You are a strong and personable communicator
- You excel at last minute problem solving and out of the box thinking
- You are highly organized and love to follow a process
- You have experience working in an on-demand service or healthcare environment
- You thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment
