Payments Analyst

Summary

Join InterPayments, a FinTech SaaS company, as a remote financial analyst based in Atlanta, GA. You will convert customer goals into reality by analyzing processing statements, providing data analysis, supporting product teams, and collaborating cross-functionally. This high-impact role requires detailed analysis of merchant processing rates to identify cost savings. You will work closely with sales, product, engineering, customer success, and customer support teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be a consultant to customers, partners, and internal teams, building trust and long-lasting relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years accounting or financial analysis experience
• Extreme attention to detail and a growth mindset
• Self-starter, independent driver who can execute with minimal supervision, balance multiple activities simultaneously, and achieve deadlines
• Responsible & accountable

• Experimental with new strategies and technologies (including AI) to improve impact
• Clear and decisive written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors

Responsibilities

• Analyze processing statements in great detail, using both your own insights and training our Artificial Intelligence tools to leverage yourself into more value-add data analysis and product improvements
• Deliver gold standard responsiveness and consultative meetings that are honest and results oriented
• As you bridge the gap between customer needs and our product/technology side, you’ll understand our products extremely well
• You will understand how customers perceive and use them
• You’ll use those unique insights to help drive product innovation and roadmap
• Work closely with external customers and partners along with internal sales, product, engineering, and other teams to drive customer and company goals while nurturing a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous start-up experience
• Management consulting or payments experience

Remote pay range: $95,000 — $105,000 USD
