Summary
Join Americor as a Payments Supervisor and lead multiple teams in their day-to-day operations, handling escalated situations, and ensuring quality and production goals are met. You will train, coach, and mentor team members, develop training materials, and handle escalation issues. Maintain professional relationships, analyze team needs, resolve complaints, and oversee coaches. Approve timecards, improve team processes, and work with leadership to set goals. Requirements
- 1+ year experience in management or equivalent leadership
- Must be an Americor employee. Your resume must reflect your current position at Americor
- Must have Debt Settlement experience
- Detailed knowledge of creditor guidelines and a strong understanding of the debt settlement process
- Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Superior leadership skills, focusing on innovation and a big-picture understanding; adept at conflict resolution, resolving difficult employee situations quickly and effectively
- Strong work ethic, flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Results-oriented team player
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, while utilizing specialized skills of tact and persuasion
- Great attention to detail, with the ability to properly apply policies and procedures to various situations
- Superior time management, multitasking, and organizational skills; able to work under deadline constraints while completing work accurately and efficiently
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office programs, Intermediate computer literacy skills, quick and efficient typing skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Work with Payments leadership to set team and individual goals and communicate production goals back to the teams
- Identify training opportunities, assist leadership with team member and new hire training, and continuing education for existing representatives
- Help develop and implement training materials for all roles the supervisor oversees
- Handle escalation issues and review the teamโs work for quality and guideline compliance
- Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Maintain professional relationships with internal departments and customers; be reliable, punctual, tactful, considerate of others, and practice open communication
- Analyze the needs of the teams to develop tools and reports
- Listen to and resolve team member complaints and grievances
- Oversee and train Coaches under the Supervisor's Role
- Approve timecards and ensure all company timekeeping policies are upheld
- Work with the leadership to improve the teamsโ processes and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality Control experience is a plus
- Bachelorโs degree preferred
