Remote Payroll Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in global payroll processing
• Knowledge of US and Canada federal, state/provincial, and local payroll regulations is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google sheets is required
• Experience with ADP, Deel, Remote, or other similar payroll engines is highly preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or (FPC) is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, ability to work with different time zones
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of payroll processing for employees across US and multiple countries
• Ensure payroll operations comply with US and Canada federal, state/provincial, and local regulations
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Assist with year-end procedures to facilitate internal and external payroll audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within payroll operations and implement best practices
• Design and implement payroll processes and employee-facing guides and policies
• Resolve tax agency notices
• Run scheduled reports for Finance and People teams and prepare ad-hoc reports as requested
