Requirements

  • Must be fully fluent in French and English
  • Requires full knowledge of Payroll and HR legislation
  • Requires at least 5 years’ experience in payroll consulting
  • Requires advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite i.e. Excel, Word etc
  • Requires strong analytical abilities

  • Requires demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills
  • Requires a degree in HR or BCom Degree

Responsibilities

  • Ensures customer excellence by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, adhering to business processes and systems, taking personal accountability for service excellence, and adhering to the company’s work standards
  • Ensures information security by understanding their role within the organization from an information security perspective and committing to protecting the organization’s security information assets
  • Ensures finance efficiency by ensuring cost savings and efficiencies in the area of accountability
  • Pursues self-development by updating job knowledge, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, preparing personal development plans, and implementing them in line with business requirements
  • Promotes teamwork to achieve shared goals
  • Leads payroll implementations by actively leading workshops at client sites, studying the fact sheet of relevant countries before implementation, analyzing and documenting client requirements, brainstorming with development and implementation managers, configuring system according to client’s requirements, migrating data from client’s current system to new system, balancing payroll data, playing the lead role in implementations, providing training to users, and ensuring project milestones are reached
  • Provides post-implementation support via email and/or telephone to new clients for a period of time after implementation until handover to support or outsource department, ensuring a smooth handover to support and/or outsource department
  • Stays up to date with the latest system functionality, assists the support and outsource departments with queries when required, mentors new/junior consultants on the implementation process and system functionality, and tests new system functionality by following the prescribed testing process
