Requirements

  • 7+ years of payroll management experience
  • Proficient with multistate and global payroll processes
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Proficiency with Workday and ADP
  • Experience maintaining regulatory compliance, process documentation, and payroll policies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with a big-picture strategic understanding
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, and multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
  • Hands-on, โ€œRoll-up the sleevesโ€ approach to accomplishing all necessary tasks
  • Experience in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of payroll processes and payroll accounting
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations and tax filing requirements
  • Full ownership of the payroll accounting for all payroll and payroll-related accounts
  • Accurate payroll processing of employee pay, deductions, taxes, and one-time payments (bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, etc)
  • Serve as a main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, issues, and new initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of NetSuite
  • Assisting in various financial audits
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • CPP or other payroll professional certifications designation preferred, but not required
  • CPA designation preferred, but not required
