Requirements
- 7+ years of payroll management experience
- Proficient with multistate and global payroll processes
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Proficiency with Workday and ADP
- Experience maintaining regulatory compliance, process documentation, and payroll policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with a big-picture strategic understanding
- Ability to manage ambiguity, and multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
- Hands-on, โRoll-up the sleevesโ approach to accomplishing all necessary tasks
- Experience in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of payroll processes and payroll accounting
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations and tax filing requirements
- Full ownership of the payroll accounting for all payroll and payroll-related accounts
- Accurate payroll processing of employee pay, deductions, taxes, and one-time payments (bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, etc)
- Serve as a main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, issues, and new initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of NetSuite
- Assisting in various financial audits
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- CPP or other payroll professional certifications designation preferred, but not required
- CPA designation preferred, but not required
