Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in payroll processing and administration, with expertise in Spanish labor law, tax requirements, and social security contributions
- Advanced knowledge of SAGE Payroll software is required
- Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills in Spanish and English
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying improvements
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely execution of monthly payroll cycles and off-cycle payments when necessary
- Manage payroll processes and maintain compliance with Spanish social security regulations (SILTRA@) and tax obligations, including the preparation and submission of Form 111 and Form 190
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes in the payroll system and social security database
- Handle the registration and management of employment contracts, sick leaves, parental leaves, and work accident declarations via Delt@
- Respond to payroll-related queries and provide guidance on compensation matters
- Collaborate with the Finance team to reconcile social security payments and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and audit employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance
- Support Labor Relations activities, including risk prevention (EHS), and ensure compliance with Spanish labor law
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Factorial HR software is a plus
- Experience in Compensation & Benefits processes is a plus
