Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • At least two years of related experience
  • Ability to correctly register and audit local, state, SIT and SUI payroll taxes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and provide exemplary customer service via verbal and written means with internal customers in a diverse and distributed team environment
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a 100% High growth fast paced organization and Remote based environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for employees, including data entry, timekeeping, and calculation of wages and deductions
  • Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to hours worked
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local withholding. 2 entities spanning ~45 states
  • Generate payroll reports as needed
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions promptly and professionally
  • Maintain organized and secure payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Stay current with federal and state payroll laws and regulations to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance
