Summary
Join Medely, a high-growth technology startup, as a People Coordinator and be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing comprehensive HR support. Manage and maintain core HR systems and processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience. You will support onboarding, employee changes, and terminations, collaborating with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to expand your HR expertise in a fast-paced startup environment. The role requires experience in Human Resources, familiarity with HR best practices, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Experience in Human Resources; experience supporting remote teams is a plus
- Familiarity with HR best practices and understanding of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Mac, Google Suite, Excel and comfortable adapting to new systems
- Detail-oriented, approachable, and eager to learn
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of support for employee questions via Siit.io , Gmail, and Slack
- Become a subject matter expert on Medelyβs HR policies and programs, escalating issues as appropriate
- Manage and maintain employee records and reports, continuously identifying ways to improve efficiency and document security
- Support and administer HR tools including our HRIS (Rippling), LMS (Workramp), and performance management platform (Lattice)
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to execute onboarding, employee changes, terminations and scheduling
- Additional projects as needed
